Job Title: Electronics Assembly Technician II

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent with 1+ year of related experience in electronics assembly, manufacturing, production, or technical operations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
- Experience using hand tools and performing detailed mechanical or electronic assembly tasks.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to work onsite in laboratory, manufacturing, production, and cleanroom environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cable and wire harness fabrication.
- Exposure to soldering, crimping, connector installation, and electrical assembly processes.
- Familiarity with DMM continuity testing and cable verification.
- Experience working in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or electronics production environments.
- Knowledge of ESD controls and cleanroom procedures.
- Experience using product lifecycle or manufacturing software systems.
- IPC-A-620 and J-STD-001 certifications or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities
Fabrication & Assembly
- Fabricate, assemble, modify, and rework electronic hardware, cable assemblies, chassis, rack systems, and test equipment.
- Perform wire stripping, crimping, connector installation, soldering, grounding, and cable sleeving activities.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Support product builds while ensuring compliance with quality and workmanship standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot assembly, fabrication, and workmanship-related issues.
Testing & Quality
- Perform continuity testing and verification of cable assemblies using DMMs and related test equipment.
- Measure, record, and document test results accurately.
- Identify and report nonconforming conditions, defects, or test anomalies.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and workmanship throughout the manufacturing process.
- Support continuous improvement and hardware manufacturability efforts.
Project Support
- Complete assignments efficiently while supporting program cost and schedule objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to achieve project goals.
- Provide technical support as needed to meet production and delivery milestones.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to assembly and testing activities.
- Support additional manufacturing and technical operations as required.

Work Environment
- Full-time onsite position.
- Work performed in manufacturing, production, laboratory, cleanroom, and office environments.
