Workday HRIS Analyst

Role: Workday HRIS Specialist
Rate: $35/hour W2
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Hybrid

We are seeking a Workday HRIS Specialist to join the HR Systems & Technology team. This individual will serve as a key functional resource supporting Workday, with a primary focus on Core HCM, Organizational Management, configuration, testing, and production support. The ideal candidate will partner closely with HR stakeholders and technical teams to support system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, maintain data integrity, and contribute to ongoing Workday initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Workday Core HCM and Organizational Management functionality.
• Partner with HR Business Partners to define, improve, and support HR processes within Workday.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical documentation.
• Configure, test, document, and support Workday functionality and related HR technology processes.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex Workday system issues and support requests.
• Perform system audits, data validations, and data integrity reviews.
• Support Workday releases, upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing platform improvements.
• Coordinate and execute system testing, including UAT and regression testing activities.
• Document system configurations, integrations, business processes, and testing results.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and third-party vendors to support HR technology solutions.
• Assist with identifying process improvements and recommending solutions that enhance the employee experience.
• Develop reports, documentation, presentations, and supporting materials as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3+ years of experience supporting or implementing Workday.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM and/or Organizational Management.
• Experience with Workday configuration, system support, and troubleshooting.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, including UAT and system validation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Workday integrations and third-party vendor connections.
• Experience with HRIS, HR Technology, or Human Capital Management systems.
• Exposure to Workday releases, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
• Experience using HP Octane or similar ticketing and testing tools.
• Project coordination or project management experience.
