Account Executive

The Commercial Insurance Account Executive - Finance & Insurance sells business, commercial, and related life and retirement products within an assigned territory. This role focuses on developing and retaining profitable client relationships, meeting sales and renewal targets, and coordinating with underwriting, claims, and loss control. Work is largely field-based with a home office, requiring travel to business clients and effective territory management.

Responsibilities

• Sell directly to niche commercial insurance, 401(k), and life insurance accounts to grow premium volume and revenue.
• Retain profitable business by delivering responsive, high-quality service to policyholders in the assigned territory.
• Develop, strengthen, and manage relationships with business clients and key decision makers.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, loss control, audit, and customer service to structure and service accounts.
• Prospect within the defined territory, including travel to client sites, to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Leverage existing customer relationships and referrals to generate cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline, forecasts, and activity records to meet sales and renewal targets.
• Apply analytical and math skills to evaluate account profitability, coverage needs, and pricing options.
