Sourcing Operations Associate

Boston, MA | Hybrid


About the Role

Our client is a leading global investment firm known for backing industry-leading businesses and leveraging technology, data, and deep market insight to drive investment decisions. They're seeking a Sourcing Operations Associate to support investment sourcing, market research, CRM strategy, and AI-driven initiatives across the investment team.


Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and implement AI tools that enhance sourcing, research, and diligence workflows.
  • Conduct industry research, market mapping, and competitive analysis.
  • Support the evaluation and prioritization of investment opportunities.
  • Manage deal pipelines, CRM data, and sourcing trackers.
  • Coordinate with bankers, advisors, executives, and other industry contacts.
  • Track market activity, target companies, and key industry developments.
  • Assist with presentations, events, and other strategic projects.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales operations, research, consulting, private equity, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in AI, technology, and investing.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with tools such as PitchBook, Grata, Capital IQ, Salesforce, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Compensation

Starting at $75,000 base salary + bonus + comprehensive benefits. Compensation will vary based on experience and qualifications.
