Senior Security Technology Program Manager – Physical Security, CCTV & AI Video Analytics Security, electronic access control, CCTV, VMS

We are seeking a Senior Security Technology Program Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of complex physical security and advanced video analytics initiatives for a major transportation client in the Washington, D.C. area. In this high-visibility role, you will drive critical security modernization projects—including onboard train video deployments and Security Operations Center (SOC) integrations—by bridging the gap between operational security needs and technical execution. Working closely with vendors, systems integrators, and internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for overseeing schedules, budgets, risk management, and technical integration to deliver scalable, reliable security solutions across critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Drive end-to-end execution of on-going physical security technology initiatives, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and executive communications.
  • Onboard Systems & AI Deployment: Lead complex deployments of AI-enabled video analytics, Video Management Systems (VMS), and CCTV technology onboard trains and transit assets.
  • Stakeholder & Operational Coordination: Translate operational security requirements into actionable technical deliverables, aligning needs across security, operations, IT, and rail stakeholders.
  • Vendor & Integrator Management: Manage third-party vendors and systems integrators to ensure seamless software/hardware integration, network reliability, and technical compliance.
  • SOC Integration & Workflow Optimization: Coordinate closely with Security Operations Center (SOC) teams to ensure AI-driven alerts, video feeds, and incident workflows integrate effectively into operator response environments.
  • Technical & Strategic Alignment: Facilitate detailed technical discussions with engineers and vendors while translating progress and value to executive leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven PM Experience: Senior-level experience managing large-scale physical security, electronic access control, CCTV, VMS, and systems integration programs.
  • Core Technology Exposure: Technical familiarity with key industry platforms, including Genetec, Lenel, Video Management Systems (VMS), and AI-driven video analytics.
  • SOC Environment Understanding: Solid grasp of SOC operations, including how security operators consume, evaluate, and respond to real-time system alerts.
  • Transportation / Critical Infrastructure Background: Experience managing technology deployments in rail, public transportation, public safety, or heavily regulated environments is highly desirable.
  • Technical & Network Aptitude: Familiarity with onboard technology deployments, data transmission, wireless networking, and system reliability considerations.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the demonstrated ability to engage both technical engineering teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
