Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst

Location: New York, NY / Dallas, TX / Rockville, MD (Hybrid 3days Onsite, 2 days Remote)
Type: Full Time/W2 with Infinite Computer Solutions

Job Summary:

Responsibilities

  • Product Implementation and Development:
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs and own projects through testing and adoption
  • Principal technical business analyst and developer on one or more Core systems implementation
  • Support multiple simultaneous time-sensitive projects (e.g. implementation of SaaS products, automation of manual workflows, data warehousing, etc.) with strong prioritization
  • Ensure a high standard of SLDC with focus on automated testing/regressions.
  • Align and contribute to the culture and overall vision/mission of the team.
  • Technology Responsibilities:
  • Stay abreast of technical best practices and new tools
  • Execute on Major Incident & Crisis Management Processes during unexpected issues
  • Assisting with other core technology projects as needed

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on Business Analyst experience working on enterprise financial technology implementations, financial data warehouse technology.
  • Experience building semantic layers and reporting framework for business-facing dashboards/reports with Reporting & Business Intelligence technologies (e.g. Sigma Computing, PowerBI, Tableau, Google Looker)
  • Advanced knowledge of Data warehouse technologies (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, Azure Data) and associated tooling preferred

Required Experience:

  • Experience implementing or configuring Portfolio Management / Order Management / Investment Book of Record Accounting systems
  • Experience working with Cloud tools (Azure or similar)
  • Regulated finance or equivalent audit, compliance, and risk management mindset
  • Working knowledge of alternative investments (Credit / PE) Asset classes and investment lifecycle
  • Familiarity with Market Data platforms (Bloomberg, S&P Markit, Refinitiv, Pitchbook, Preqin)
  • Bachelor or Master s Degree in relevant technical field

  • Ability to independently translate business requirements into technical design and execute on development, owning the project through user testing and adoption

  • Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous time-sensitive projects and tasks

  • Occasional travel to Miami may be required
  • Position may require on-call availability outside of working hours for scheduled changes, emergency Incident Management, and VIP requests
