The summer internship program is a 12-week program that is expected to begin with orientation on May 25, 2027 and conclude on August 13, 2027.

Job Description Summary
As a Human Resources Intern at our Salem, OH location, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about Fresh Mark’s business operations and while performing the following tasks:
Updating our internal database with new/current employee information such as benefits, organizational structure, etc. Creating/updating forms and other communication material. Assisting with training. Screening resumes and applications. Schedule and confirm interviews with applicants. Participate in organizing company events.

Requirements

18 years of age and currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university with a focus on Human Resources or a related field.

Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to drive between plants. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Willingness to learn and work in a team environment. Proactive thinker and self-motivated. Strong time, project, and organizational management skills. The ability to work independently.

Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment. Adherence to safety practices and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screen.
