Java Application Development

his position’s primary responsibilities consist of converting the approximately seventy existing fillable PDF inspection documents into new interactive HTML forms that will be used by department inspectors for data collection. The developer will use JavaScript to build the functionality for inspector inputs to be saved to the SQL database, and Jinja templates will be used to compile those inputs back into new PDF files. Secondary responsibilities include providing JavaScript development support as needed to help keep the current project on track.

Requirements

Beginner to Intermediate Experience Should have staff who are experienced in the following: • JavaScript • SQL (T-SQL but any form of knowing SQL will be fine) • HTML • CSS The following experience is a plus, but can be learned on the job: • Python • Docker • Jinja • Docker • Git/GitHub
