Job Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and optimize electronic manufacturing processes with a focus on Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) builds and through-hole technology (THT). This role is responsible for driving process improvements, enhancing product quality, increasing production efficiency, and supporting manufacturing operations through continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and sustain effective manufacturing processes in a high-quality production environment.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for CCA and module assembly operations, with emphasis on through-hole technologies. Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance productivity, reduce waste, improve quality, and lower manufacturing costs. Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to improve operational performance.

Create, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation, including

Work Instructions
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Process Flows
Fixture and Stencil Specifications
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to implement and validate process changes. Conduct process trials, experiments, and root cause analyses to support process development and issue resolution. Support new product introductions (NPI) and manufacturing readiness activities.

Provide technical support to production personnel and assist with training on manufacturing processes and best practices. Monitor key process metrics and recommend corrective and preventive actions when needed. Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing issues related to assembly, soldering, equipment, and process performance. Support equipment qualification, maintenance activities, and continuous process optimization efforts.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Experience supporting electronics manufacturing, PCB/CCA assembly, or related production environments. Knowledge of through-hole assembly processes and electronic manufacturing practices. Understanding of manufacturing process development, process validation, and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Familiarity with electronics assembly equipment, tooling, fixtures, and stencil design. Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies. Experience supporting high-reliability electronics manufacturing environments. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
