This employer is seeking to hire a talented Technical Writer to support critical operations within the Civilian Division of a prominent federal agency. The role involves ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to standards in a variety of important technical and regulatory documents.

The Role

• Review, revise, and edit documents to ensure they align with style guidelines and industry best practices for regulatory documents, manuals, and technical orders.
• Organize and format content provided by subject matter experts for optimal clarity, flow, and readability.
• Write original content and produce drafts based on discussions with subject matter experts.
• Prepare, edit, and revise reports, correspondence, briefings, and other documentation as needed.
• Meticulously ensure the grammatical correctness and clarity of all written materials.
• Maintain documentation listings, including key data and revision schedules.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional technical writing experience.
• Ability to pass a Public Trust Security Investigation (US Citizenship is required).
• Strong editing and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
