FISERV EPP Automation Tester with Playwright

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, and FISERV EPP (Electronic Payment Platform) to support payment application testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have experience in payment processing systems, end-to-end testing, API automation, and financial transaction workflows.

The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts, validating payment transactions, identifying defects, and ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of payment applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Perform end-to-end functional, regression, integration, and API testing for FISERV EPP applications.
• Validate payment processing workflows, transaction lifecycle, payment authorization, settlement, and related financial transactions.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks and maintain scalable test suites.
• Perform UI automation and API testing to validate application functionality and backend integrations.
• Validate positive, negative, boundary, and exception-based test scenarios.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
• Analyze test execution results, troubleshoot failures, and report defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, test planning, and release validation.
• Ensure adequate test coverage for payment applications and critical business workflows.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, test cases, execution reports, and automation scripts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser-based automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Strong knowledge of web application testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, REST clients, or automated API testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, and request/response validation.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong SQL skills for backend data validation and database testing.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FISERV EPP (Electronic Payment Platform) or related Fiserv payment processing solutions.
• Knowledge of electronic payment processing, transaction authorization, settlement, reconciliation, and payment lifecycle workflows.
• Experience testing banking, financial services, payment gateways, or transaction processing applications.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira and Zephyr.
• Experience with cross-browser testing, test reporting, and automation execution in CI/CD environments.
• Understanding of secure payment processing and financial transaction validation.
