Job Description

Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.

As a Project - Consultant, Finance Managed Services on the Finance Managed Services team, you will be responsible for:
Support financial management and audit readiness activities across defense-focused programs and initiatives
Analyze business processes, risks, and controls to help strengthen execution and improve program outcomes
Coordinate with stakeholders to track priorities, manage action items, and support delivery against program milestones
Perform data analysis and research to identify issues, evaluate impacts, and inform recommendations for improvement
Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product

Our Finance Operate offering provides ongoing operation of the Finance function as an extension of the Finance Transformation Advise and Implement offering portfolio. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.

Bachelor's degree
~2+ years of experience supporting financial management, audit readiness, internal controls, business process improvement, or program management activities
~2+ years of experience supporting federal government or Department of Defense programs
~1+ years of experience developing process documentation, standard operating procedures, briefing materials, or status reports
~1+ years of experience analyzing financial, operational, or program data using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
~ Active Secret security clearance required
Experience supporting audit readiness or financial improvement initiatives
Experience with Federal Managers' Financial Integrity Act, Office of Management and Budget Circular A-123, or Government Accountability Office Standards for Internal Control in the Federal Government
Experience supporting Working Capital Fund or revolving fund environments
Experience with enterprise resource planning systems, financial reporting tools, or workflow tracking tools
Experience preparing materials for senior leaders or governance forums
