With over 5,200 people globally, their engineering teams build and maintain the technology that underpins price discovery, liquidity and data distribution at enormous scale. They are investing seriously in Belfast for the long term. They have hired 18 engineers here already this year and have just moved into a brand new Belfast city centre office to support that growth. This is not a satellite function. It is a core engineering hub where quality is built in from the start and QA engineers are treated as first class members of the team. The Role and What It Can Do For Your Career This is a QA Engineer position within a high performing Agile engineering team, working closely with Product Owners, developers and fellow QA engineers to embed quality across every sprint. You will contribute to test strategy, build and maintain automated test suites, integrate tests into CI and CD pipelines and validate the reliability and performance of systems that operate in live global financial markets. The career value here is real. You will be working on distributed, cloud native systems at significant scale in an environment where engineering standards are high and continuous improvement is expected. AI assisted testing is a core part of how this team works - tools like Copilot and Amazon Q are embedded in daily workflows - and your experience with those tools will grow quickly. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and grow alongside a broader QA community as the Belfast team continues to expand. The stack is Playwright, BDD with Cucumber, CI and CD pipeline integration across Jenkins and GitLab, performance and load testing with K6 and JMeter, and API and end to end testing across complex distributed systems. What you will need: Experience in QA or software testing with a solid focus on automation Hands on experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar Experience or strong interest in BDD frameworks such as Cucumber Familiarity with CI and CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices Experience with API and functional testing Good understanding of software development and testing lifecycles in Agile environments Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills Nice to Have: Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or Amazon Q in testing workflows Experience with performance or load testing tools such as K6 or JMeter Exposure to AWS, microservices or serverless architectures Formal testing qualifications such as ISTQB Why You Should Apply Now This is a rare combination - a globally significant organisation, a brand new Belfast city centre office, a team that is growing fast and a QA role where your work will genuinely matter.
