QA Manager Web & Mobile / Quality Engineering ( Only local to Florida & W2 Candidate )

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced QA Manager Web & Mobile / Quality Engineering to lead enterprise-level quality engineering initiatives across web, mobile, API, and end-to-end applications. The ideal candidate will have strong QA leadership experience, a proven track record of driving automation transformation, and hands-on knowledge of modern testing frameworks, CI/CD, and AI-driven quality engineering practices.

This role will lead distributed QA teams, establish automation strategies, implement quality governance, and partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Engineering initiatives across web, mobile, API, and end-to-end testing environments.

• Drive the transformation from traditional manual testing to an automation-first quality engineering model.

• Develop and execute long-term QA automation strategies focused on scalability, efficiency, and quality outcomes.

• Establish and enhance automation frameworks across web, mobile, API, and ecommerce platforms.

• Leverage AI-driven testing capabilities for test generation, regression optimization, defect analysis, risk identification, and test coverage improvement.

• Define and implement quality metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to measure QA and engineering effectiveness.

• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders to integrate quality throughout the SDLC.

• Implement continuous testing and automated quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.

• Drive adoption of BDD, TDD, Agile, and modern Quality Engineering methodologies.

• Mentor and develop QA managers, leads, engineers, and automation specialists across onshore and offshore teams.

• Establish enterprise-level QA standards, governance, processes, and best practices.

• Support high-volume ecommerce and digital customer experiences across web and mobile channels.

• Identify quality risks and establish risk-based testing strategies to improve release confidence.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Software QA, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation.

• 5+ years of QA leadership experience managing enterprise-level QA teams.

• Proven experience leading QA automation transformation initiatives.

• Strong experience testing large-scale web and mobile applications.

• Hands-on expertise with modern automation frameworks and testing tools.

• Strong experience developing automation strategies for:

  • Web applications

  • Mobile applications

  • REST/GraphQL APIs

  • End-to-end business workflows

• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD environments.

• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, Continuous Testing, and software development practices.

• Experience managing distributed teams across onshore and offshore delivery models.

• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
