TIG Welder - Custom Metal Fabrication

L&L Metal Fabrication is looking for an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Tontitown, Arkansas. We build custom metal projects, so the work varies from job to job and requires craftsmanship, accuracy, and problem-solving.

We’re looking for someone who can TIG weld and fabricate—not just run production welds. You should be comfortable working from drawings, measuring and fitting parts, and taking pride in the appearance and quality of the finished product.

What You’ll Do

• TIG weld stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel
• Fabricate custom metal components and assemblies from drawings and project specifications
• Measure, fit, cut, grind, and prepare materials for fabrication
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, dimensions, and fabrication details
• Produce clean, accurate welds with proper fit and alignment
• Grind and finish exposed welds to achieve a professional finished appearance
• Check your own work for quality and dimensional accuracy
• Safely operate common welding and fabrication tools and equipment
• Work on a variety of custom fabrication projects rather than repetitive production work

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated TIG welding ability
• Professional welding and/or metal fabrication experience; 3+ years preferred
• Experience TIG welding stainless steel and/or aluminum strongly preferred
• Ability to read drawings and accurately work from dimensions
• Fabrication, fitting, measuring, grinding, and finishing skills
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure and common fabrication tools
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fabrication team
• Dependable attendance and commitment to workplace safety

Experience with custom metal fabrication, architectural or ornamental metalwork, handrails, stairs, frames, stainless finishing, aluminum fabrication, or similar custom work is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position at our fabrication shop in Tontitown, Arkansas.

This is a hands-on role in an active metal fabrication environment. The position requires standing for extended periods, working around fabrication equipment, handling materials, and performing the physical tasks associated with welding and fabrication.
