Our local office is built on strong relationships, high standards and a genuine commitment to both our clients and our Care Professionals.

We are looking for an organised, resilient and people-focused Scheduler to join our local team.

This role is available due to the current post holder progressing within the company, reflecting our strong commitment to internal development.

This is a key coordination role, ensuring care schedules are efficient, responsive and centred around the needs of both clients and Care Professionals.

You will:

  • Respond calmly and accurately to schedule adjustments, working closely with the wider team.
  • Match Care Professionals to new clients and arrange introductions alongside the client services team.
  • Promote continuity of care by scheduling the same Care Professionals at consistent times wherever possible.
  • Develop strong, professional relationships with clients and Care Professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records on the electronic scheduling system.
  • Work with recruitment and care teams to ensure care packages are resourced in a timely and sustainable way.
  • Experience in a scheduling or coordination role (home care, health, logistics or similar).
  • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with a calm, positive and resilient approach.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, think logically and meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative team player who builds rapport quickly and professionally.
  • An understanding of the geography of Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Wem is essential.
  • Salary: £25,000 per annum, increasing following a successful probationary period.
  • Full training and ongoing support provided.
  • Flexible holiday scheduling
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme
  • Friendly, responsive local management support
  • Subject to an enhanced DBS check.
  • Home Instead is committed to safeguarding adults and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion.
