About the Role

WorkPac is currently seeking experienced Mechanical & Structural Site Supervisors to join our Mackay Operations Team for upcoming shutdown work across the Bowen Basin. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering critical maintenance and shutdown services across multiple mine sites.

Working 12-hour shifts on shutdown-specific rosters, you'll lead mechanical crews across predominantly Wash Plant shutdowns, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. With multiple back-to-back shutdowns already scheduled, this role offers consistent ongoing opportunities.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Supervising and coordinating daily activities of mechanical and structural crews
  • Leading shutdown works across Wash Plants and mining infrastructure
  • Ensuring compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
  • Planning, scheduling, and overseeing shutdown activities to meet project deadlines
  • Promoting a strong safety-first culture and leading by example
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and environmental performance
  • Building and supporting a positive, high-performing team environment
What You Will Need
  • Previous experience supervising mechanical or structural shutdown crews within the mining industry
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Current S1, S2, S3 & G2 certification
  • Current Coal Board Medical or the ability to obtain one
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Current Driver's Licence
