The Role
Were looking for a Senior Agile Delivery Manager to help lead and improve delivery across our Technology function.This is a senior role working across multiple teams and initiatives. Youll take ownership of delivery, help teams work more effectively, manage dependencies and risks, and work closely with senior stakeholders across Technology and the wider business.
This is not a squad-level Scrum Master role. Were looking for someone who can lead delivery across multiple teams, challenge when needed, and take real ownership for outcomes.Youll also help shape our delivery approach and raise standards across the wider Delivery function.
What Youll Be Doing

• Take end-to-end responsibility for delivery across one or more product areas or initiatives.
• Own delivery plans, timelines, risks, dependencies and, where relevant, budgets.
• Lead and coordinate delivery across multiple teams and squads.
• Coach teams in Agile ways of working and help create high-performing, accountable teams.
• Manage dependencies and make sure teams are aligned and moving forward.
• Lead quarterly planning and keep priorities and delivery plans on track.
• Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, delivery performance and forecasts.
• Work closely with Product and Technology leaders on roadmaps, priorities and sequencing.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and confidently manage expectations.
• Use delivery data such as cycle time, throughput and predictability to identify improvements.
• Help develop and improve delivery standards and ways of working across the organisation.
• Support and coach other Delivery Managers where appropriate.

Delivery Leadership

• Strong experience leading complex technology and business change across multiple teams.
• Experience working at both team and programme level.
• A track record of taking ownership and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Agile

• Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
• Able to adapt Agile approaches to suit the organisation rather than simply following a framework.
• Experience coaching teams and improving ways of working.

Leadership & Stakeholders

• Confident working with senior stakeholders.
• Able to challenge constructively and influence decisions.
• Comfortable managing competing priorities and difficult delivery issues.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Planning & Governance

• Strong experience in delivery planning, forecasting and reporting.
• Comfortable using data to provide clear insight into delivery performance and risks.
• Able to put effective governance in place without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

Commercial & Business Focus

• Understands the commercial impact of delivery decisions.
• Focused on delivering business value and outcomes, rather than simply completing tasks.

Tools

• Strong experience using Jira and Confluence.

Desirable

• Experience in e-commerce, retail or logistics.
