Systems Engineer MID - Endpoint Systems Analyst
Location: JBPHH, Hawaii (On-site)
Role Overview
An opportunity is available for a Junior Endpoint Systems Analyst to support Enterprise Service Delivery activities. The selected candidate will support the deployment, validation, troubleshooting, and reporting of software, patches, drivers, and configuration changes across enterprise workstation environments. The candidate will coordinate with engineering, operations, Service Desk, Field Services, and other technical teams to ensure deployments are completed successfully and within established service-level requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor enterprise software, patch, driver, and configuration deployments using MECM and other approved endpoint-management tools.
• Validate deployment success and identify failed, pending, offline, or nonresponsive workstations.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures, client-health issues, software-installation errors, and endpoint connectivity problems.
• Coordinate remediation activities with engineering, Service Desk, Field Services, and site-support personnel.
• Support deployments across NIPR and SIPR environments.
• Maintain deployment schedules, status trackers, failure logs, and supporting documentation.
• Provide deployment status, compliance results, risks, blockers, and escalation information to leadership.
• Assist with workstation testing and validation before enterprise-wide deployment.
• Follow approved change-management, cybersecurity, and operational procedures.
• Create and update standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Support incident escalation and shift handoff activities when deployments extend beyond normal operating hours.

Required Qualifications
Education: A high school diploma with 4-6 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience is required.
Experience: Experience supporting Microsoft Windows workstations in an enterprise environment is necessary. Experience with software deployment, patching, workstation troubleshooting, or endpoint administration is also required.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, formerly SCCM, or a similar endpoint-management platform is required. The position requires the ability to analyze deployment results, installation logs, error codes, and workstation status. The ability to document activities and communicate status, risks, and technical issues is also necessary. This role requires collaboration with engineering, operations, Service Desk, and Field Services teams.
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting government enterprise environments.
• Experience with MECM, Tanium, Active Directory, PowerShell, or endpoint-reporting tools.
• Knowledge of application packaging, deployment collections, maintenance windows, and enforcement states.
• Experience supporting software, driver, security-agent, and Windows update deployments.
• Experience working with NIPR and SIPR systems.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, HPSM, or similar work-tracking tools.
• Analytical, documentation, and customer-service skills are preferred.
