Job Description & Summary

At PwC Australia, you will make a meaningful impact by helping businesses harness technology to solve complex challenges and unlock strategic value, driving innovation and transformation that shapes the future of a variety of industries.

As a Senior Manager in Technology Advisory, you'll play a vital role in delivering technology strategies and transformation roadmaps, leading post-merger technology integration, and advising clients on emerging digital and AI-enabled operating models.

Why PwC?

At PwC Australia, your skills meet purpose. We tackle big challenges across industries like finance, technology, energy, and health-giving you the chance to make a real impact. Here, your growth is our priority. You'll work with leading teams, explore new technologies, and unlock your full potential.

Join a global community of more than 370,000 people who value bold ideas, collaboration, and lasting change. Together, we're building trust and shaping the future.

What you'll do:
  • Lead and shape large-scale M&A client engagements and technology transformation programs by partnering with senior stakeholders to define enterprise-wide technology strategies, digital transformation initiatives, operating model redesigns, and AI-enabled innovations.
  • Partner with C-suite and senior leaders to develop and secure executive sponsorship for delivery strategies and technology transformation business cases that drive funding and enable successful deal execution.
  • Translate strategic intent into detailed, enterprise-scale delivery roadmaps, target operating models, and investment cases that ensure prioritisation, alignment, and measurable business value across teams, initiatives, and business units.
  • Provide executive advisory on emerging technologies, delivery models (including AI and agile), and architecture decisions, balancing cost, risk, and innovation.
  • Lead governance and risk management frameworks across complex M&A programs, overseeing performance tracking, due diligence, transition planning, and capability modelling to ensure minimal disruption and maximum value realization.
  • Develop future leaders by coaching Managers and Junior Consultants, while contributing to business development, thought leadership, and strengthening the Technology Advisory practice's market reputation within M&A.
What we're looking for:
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience working with a leading consulting firm or strategy house, with a focus on Technology M&A.
  • Proven experience in technology strategy and transformation, including governance, strategic delivery planning, and complex, multi-stream delivery and post merger technology integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to advise on emerging technologies including Agentic AI and agile delivery practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements, build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and manage high-performing teams.
  • Experience working with clients in Financial Services, Mining, Energy, or Retail industries, with a passion for driving innovation and impactful technology-enabled outcomes.
What you'll gain:
  • Leadership development programs and executive coaching designed to help you inspire teams and accelerate your career growth.
  • A world class parental leave policy offering up to 26 weeks of leave for caregivers, supporting your family and personal life.
  • Flexibility means trusting you to choose when, where, and how you work-balancing what's best for you, your team, and your clients to grow and thrive together.
  • Being part of a community united by purpose, delivering impact that reaches clients, communities, and the future you're shaping.
