Release Train Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Description Everforth ECS is seeking a Release Train Engineer to work in Stafford, VA . We offer the chance to support the world's finest law enforcement organization and help the people that keep us safe. In this job you will support agents, analysts, and professionals and technology they use to fight terrorism, espionage, cyber-attacks, and major criminal threats. The RTE is a lean-agile leader and will also be responsible for promoting agile values including promoting systems thinking, supporting the teams' and trains' commitments, leading change, and leading by example. Additional Responsibilities include:

• Facilitates work for the Agile Release Train (ART) and is responsible for program execution, escalating impediments, managing risk, and helping drive continuous improvement for the ART
• Coordinates and executes the remote PI planning event, working with Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Business Stakeholders, and Prometric's other Agile Release Trains
• Tracks the execution of features and capabilities through metrics across the ART
• Provides senior level reporting on ART metrics and Program Increment progress and impediments
• Manages and optimizes the flow of value through the ART by facilitating ART level events and helping to manage risks and dependencies, escalating impediments as needed (Scrum of Scrums, ART sync, risk review meetings, etc.)
• Facilitates system demos
• Coordinates cross-train/cross-functional dependencies and activities as needed to deliver value across multiple ARTs Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000

Required Skills

• Active secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (or an additional 5 years of experience in lieu of degree).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Agile, program delivery, or technical project management.
• 3+ years of leadership experience as an RTE, IT Project Manager, or Technical Program Manager.
• Demonstrated success managing complex IT software delivery projects.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, across diverse technical and business audiences.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), including PI planning and SAFe ceremonies.
• Ability to create and leverage metrics/dashboards to communicate status and drive decisions.
• Effective time management and ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.

Desired Skills

• SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) Certification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting Agile teams in federal government or high-security environments.
• Experience coordinating across multiple ARTs or large Agile portfolios.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Rally, or other Agile planning tools.
• Exposure to DevSecOps or CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Familiarity with cloud-based development and deployment environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of Agile Metrics (velocity, burndown, cumulative flow) and risk management frameworks.
