Job Description

Our Client is looking for a Wire Bending CNC Machine Operator who will be responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC wire bending equipment to produce quality wire-form products according to customer specifications and engineering drawings. This position ensures production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met while minimizing waste and downtime.

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7am - 4pm (OT as required)

Pay: $18 - $23 depending on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC wire bending machines to manufacture wire forms and components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders
  • Load wire material and tooling according to setup requirements.
  • Make machine adjustments to ensure products meet dimensional and quality standards.
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and templates.
  • Monitor machine performance and production output throughout the shift.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and programming issues to reduce downtime.
  • Maintain accurate production, quality, and downtime records.

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing production facility.
  • Exposure to machinery, wire products, lubricants, and industrial equipment.
  • Required use of safety glasses, hearing protection, and other PPE as needed.
  • Experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of measuring tools and inspection techniques.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with CNC wire bending equipment.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming and editing
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and handling of materials.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.

This is a temp-to-hire position with the opportunity to become a full-time employee and receive additional benefits upon permanent hire.
