Job Summary 

Supply Chain Provisions & Accrual Management

Calculate and maintain monthly provisions/accruals for logistics and service providers (e.g., NextPharma, trans-o-flex, Grüner Punkt, ACS, pallets).

• Maintain and update provision reporting files.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities related to logistics and supply chain costs.

Supply Chain Invoice Verification & Cost Controlling for Finance

• Review, verify, and record invoices from logistics providers and CMOs.
• Maintain logistics cost tracking and ensure invoice accuracy against contractual agreements.
• Support invoice discrepancy investigations and issue resolution.
• Monitor and validate price changes and support alignment with Alliance Management and Procurement.
• Support financial reconciliation of logistics-related expenditures.

Supplier Performance & Penalty Calculations Support

• Support calculation and validation of late delivery penalties for CMOs and external service providers.
• Prepare supporting documentation and maintain tracking reports.
• Assist in financial impact assessments related to supplier performance deviations.

Supply Chain Reporting & Data Analysis

• Prepare recurring financial and operational reports.
• Support inventory reconciliation activities and variance analysis.
• Analyze reporting discrepancies and support corrective actions.
• Generate ad hoc reports from SAP and other systems for Finance, Supply Chain, and Management.
• Support stock recovery and backorder reporting.

Master Data & Data Governance

• Maintain SAP master data with focus on financial and reporting relevance.
• Support data quality improvements and master data governance activities.
• Process material master and related system updates.

Compliance, Documentation & Archiving

• Maintain electronic filing and archiving of purchase orders, IDocs, invoices, and supporting documentation.
• Support audit readiness through proper documentation management and record retention.

Regulatory & ESG Reporting Support

• Support annual waste treatment and recycling reporting activities.
• Prepare and validate weight lists and supporting data for regulatory submissions and ESG requirements.
• Assist in data collection and reporting compliance activities.

Logistics & Trade Administration Support

• Support monthly Intrastat reporting.
• Verify goods receipt documentation and transport records (e.g., CMRs).
• Assist with logistics-related administrative activities where required.

Cross-Functional Projects & Business Support

• Support process improvement and data cleansing initiatives.
• Assist with SAP correction entries and transactional support activities.
• Support vendor questionnaires and governance-related requests.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects across Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, and other departments.

This position provides essential support for financial controlling, invoice verification, accrual management, reporting, reconciliation, and compliance activities. The role ensures timely and accurate financial reporting, strengthens cost control processes, supports audit and compliance requirements, and enables efficient execution of recurring operational tasks. Approximately 70-75% of the workload is directly related to Finance, Controlling, Reporting, and Compliance activities, while the remaining portion supports operational and administrative processes across Supply Chain and other functions.

 

You are currently enrolled at a German university in the field of finance/business administration with a focus on Finance management or a comparable course of study.

They have a strong affinity for finance and numbers. 

You have very good German skills and ideally enjoy writing texts. 

Your independent and self-reliant work style, as well as your teamwork and communication skills, complete your profile.

Working hours: Ideally Max 20 hours per week during the semester, full-time is welcome during semester breaks.
