Network Engineer (French Speaking)

We’re looking for an experienced Network Engineer to support, maintain, and improve our global network infrastructure across offices, data centres, warehouses, and cloud-connected environments. It is essential to be Fluent in French both written and verbal. 

This role is offering hybrid working with 3 days per week in the Hemel Hempstead, or Ashford, Kent office, and as such a good degree of self-motivation and flexibility is required.

The Network Engineer will manage and support Check Point, Fortinet, and Cisco ASA firewalls, implementing firewall changes, security policies, network access controls, and device authentication while working closely with Cyber Security teams to maintain security and compliance standards.

The role will also support F5 load balancing and Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services, ensuring the availability of business-critical applications and maintaining accurate network records and documentation.

In addition to operational support, the Network Engineer will deliver network upgrades and infrastructure projects, including office openings, relocations, acquisitions, network expansions, and hardware refresh programmes. They will work with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to deliver changes in line with technical standards and change management processes.

Working as part of a collaborative technology team, you’ll provide Level 2 and Level 3 network support, troubleshoot complex incidents, maintain network performance and security, and contribute to infrastructure upgrades and projects. The role will configure and support Cisco and Aruba LAN, WAN, switching, and wireless environments, including Cisco Nexus, VLANs, routing protocols, network segmentation, and high-availability solutions. It will also support Aruba Wireless and ClearPass across offices, warehouses, and remote sites.

You’ll have hands-on experience with technologies including Cisco Routing & Switching, Cisco Nexus, Aruba Switching and Wi-Fi, Aruba ClearPass, Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, F5 Load Balancers, and Infoblox. You’ll also have a strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, VPNs, network security, SD-WAN, high availability, and cloud connectivity.

Ideally, you’ll bring significant network engineering experience within an enterprise environment, with strong troubleshooting, communication, and project delivery skills. Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Aruba, Check Point, Fortinet, F5, or ITIL would be advantageous.
