Digital Asset Product Owner — Tokenization & Blockchain

Role Summary
Own the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of digital-asset products leveraging blockchain/DLT, tokenization, smart contracts, digital wallets, and stablecoins. Translate business opportunities into scalable, compliant products while partnering with Engineering, Architecture, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and external blockchain ecosystem partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, roadmap, OKRs and business case for Digital Asset products.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery → requirements → build → UAT → launch → BAU.
• Drive asset tokenization use cases including tokenized securities, funds, deposits, collateral and settlement assets.
• Define functional requirements for blockchain/DLT platforms, wallets, custody, smart contracts and APIs.
• Convert business requirements into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and product specifications.
• Partner with blockchain engineers and architects on smart-contract and ledger integrations.
• Define token lifecycle processes: issuance, minting, transfer, settlement, redemption and burn.
• Evaluate public vs. permissioned blockchain architectures and associated trade-offs.
• Work with Risk, Compliance and Legal to embed KYC/AML, sanctions, regulatory, privacy and operational controls.
• Manage product backlog, prioritization, dependencies, releases and Agile ceremonies.
• Establish KPIs covering adoption, transaction volumes, settlement efficiency, revenue, risk and operational performance.
• Manage relationships with blockchain infrastructure providers, custodians, stablecoin issuers and other ecosystem partners.
• Lead stakeholder communication with senior management and governance committees.

Required Skills

• 8–12+ years in Product Management/Product Ownership, preferably financial services/fintech.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on exposure to Blockchain, Digital Assets, DLT or Tokenization.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Blockchain architecture and consensus
  • Token standards and token lifecycle
  • Smart contracts
  • Digital wallets and custody
  • Stablecoins and tokenized deposits
  • On-chain/off-chain integration
  • Digital securities/tokenized assets
  • Blockchain settlement and asset servicing
• Experience translating complex technology concepts into business/product requirements.
• Strong Agile/Product Owner experience with tools such as Jira/ADO.
• Excellent stakeholder management across Technology, Business, Risk, Compliance and Legal.
