Job Description
Envirogen is a leading provider of water and wastewater treatment solutions, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and sustainable solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Plant Operator/CDL Driver based out of our Memphis operations.
As a Plant Operator/CDL Driver will be responsible for the delivery, pick-up, operation, and maintenance of various types of mobile process equipment and mobile filtration equipment used to treat industrial water. You will service several client sites and various types of treatment facilities within the region,
Key duties:
- Deliver, Install, and remove equipment from internal and external customer sites.
- Load, unload, and secure equipment for safe hauling over the road during transportation.
- Complete inspection reports for equipment; completing logbook and trip sheets meeting all DOT andcompany record-keeping requirements.
- Coordination of water treatment equipment (delivery and/or exchange).
- Hooks up hoses and rinses in various types of exchangeable water treatment equipment.
- Drains, disconnects hoses and makes ready for shipment various types of exchangeable water treatment equipment.·
- Records operational data from process control instruments and meters, gauge readings, and chemical metering systems on specified forms.
- Performs calculations pertaining to water chemistry, gallonage processed, capacities, and predictiveexhaustion of ion exchange resin systems.
- Operates, inspects, adjusts, and monitors process equipment, to detect problems on air, water, and solids handling systems.
- Performs process control testing and field testing of water and wastewater as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- CDL
- Minimum one (1) year experience in industrial or domestic water treatment preferred.
- Experience with liquid or chemical process operations preferred.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
- Must have experience using basic hand tools.
- Flexibility to support 2nd shift hours of operation.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations
