Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Data Scientist to join a well known fintech business in the big financial data space. Their product is disrupting the compliance space using AI and data analysis.

Core to their product is technology as well as the ability to automatically analyse very unclean data using natural language processing.

The Data Science role has come around due to massive growth within the firm, currently standing at 45 people. The role will report directly to the CTO and involve working with clients to understand how their data and products are used.

Data Scientists should have a keen interest in data and its uses, alongside technology to automate business functions. Programming experience is desired but not essential. This role will also involve client facing so ideally you should be happy to do this.

The Data Scientist Will:

• Work with client and product development to produce and implement a compliance product.
• Implementations
• Product Development
• Some training
• Data Analysis
• Acting as a subject matter expert within the compliance data space
• Some project management

I am looking for a client-facing and ambitious Business Analyst or Data Scientist (could be a developer) with excellent data analysis skills and some experience of compliance or financial services. You will have the opportunity to work in a friendly, collaborative environment on advanced projects that are important to clients and their businesses.

Data Scientists Must Have:

• Experience within financial services ideally compliance
• Experience of data analysis
• Strong Educational background ideally masters or BSc Comp Sci
• Understanding or large scale data analysis
• Ideally the ability to use SQL
