IT Specialist Job Description The IT Specialist will interact with customers to gain a comprehensive understanding of their business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction. This role is responsible for collecting, identifying, defining, and organizing detailed user and information technology requirements while collaborating with team members to ensure solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
Key Responsibilities: Interact with customers and high-ranking officials to understand business and technical requirements.
Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and IT requirements.
Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements and develop effective solutions.
Ensure plans and solutions meet customer expectations.
Provide desktop support, help desk support, and hardware troubleshooting.
Manage and resolve technical issues through a ticketing system.
Deliver technical guidance and support to end users.
Support IT peripherals and related technologies.
Required Skills
Active Secret Clearance
CompTIA Security+ Certification
6+ years of desktop support and IT experience
Experience with desktop support and help desk operations
Experience using ticketing systems
Hardware troubleshooting and support experience
Knowledge of Active Directory
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and interact with high-ranking officials Worksite Address

Experience supporting IT services for large-scale intranets.

While team members primarily support customers through base operations, there are opportunities to take on elevated responsibilities and provide dedicated support to individual customers. Experienced and autonomous team members may have opportunities to serve as the primary IT support resource for specific customer locations.
