Job Description

Do you have a broad experience of electronics hardware design and like to work on a wide variety of products?

Our client create components, and as part of their offering design full electronics products and bespoke hardware for their global portfolio of clients, from small bespoke electronics clients, to high profile multinationals.

A fantastic engineering culture. They promote collaboration and innovation, supporting engineers to not only work on specific defined briefs, but also to work on their own ideas to develop new products.

This senior role will put you in a position of technical authority within a team of 7 engineers. The man management is taken care of elsewhere, but the successful candidate will offer technical advice and support to the whole team.

Requirements for application:

  • Senior hardware experience, typically with 10 or more years in the sector:
  • High-speed digital is essential, and experience of areas such as analogue, power electronics, RF, FGPA, an understanding of embedded software etc. are all highly beneficial.
  • Experience advising and coaching electronics engineers
  • Experience of Altium
  • Component selection
  • Understanding PCB Layout
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team (software, mechanical, test, manufacturing etc.) across the full electronics design lifecycle
