Job Development Specialist

Position Summary:

The Job Development Specialist provides intensive career exploration, linkages to pre-employment training, and job search/placement assistance. The position assists with barriers to education and employment and successfully links client participants to the appropriate opportunities for economic mobility. Services include outreach and engagement, individual counseling and coaching, case management, workforce readiness workshops, and resource and partnership development. This position builds strong relationships with employers and community partners to bridge gaps between job seekers, education and training programs, and potential employers to create an education and workforce pipeline for those seeking employment assistance.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with a work schedule generally falling between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
