Job Description

The biggest Android need is somebody with a deep understanding of the Android build system, particularly:
Gradle, including how it actually works under the hood
Android build performance and troubleshooting
Memory management related to builds
Git
GitLab / CI
Strong scripting
Bash and/or Python
Containers may be involved
Podman may be involved
Ability to diagnose build pipeline performance issues
The manager specifically identified deep Gradle/build-system expertise as an area where the existing team needs additional support.
iOS Mobile DevOps: 2 Openings
The iOS side needs engineers who have actually worked with and improved the build environment, not developers who merely interacted with CI because they had to.
Priority experience:
Fastlane
GitLab
Git
iOS build pipelines
CI/CD
Strong scripting
Bash and/or Python
Native iOS development/build knowledge
Ability to identify better approaches than the team’s existing solutions
Tom specifically wants experienced people who can bring another set of eyes to their environment and potentially identify gaps the existing team does not realize it has.
