Job Description

Senior SME / Architect - NTT DATA UniKix

Location: Remote (USA)
Type: Contract

We are seeking a Senior SME/Architect with strong NTT DATA UniKix expertise to lead a legacy modernization and migration initiative. This role will provide technical leadership for UniKix upgrades, platform modernization, and migration of rehosted workloads from AIX/UNIX to Linux, with a focus on cloud-ready architectures.

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in application modernization and migration projects.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with NTT DATA UniKix.
  • Proven experience with UniKix upgrades and modernization initiatives.
  • Strong experience migrating applications and workloads from AIX/UNIX to Linux.
  • Knowledge of mainframe rehosting technologies, including CICS, IMS, Batch, and JCL workloads.
  • Experience working with Azure-based environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong architectural, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
