Pediatrician (m/f/d) in/for Neuropediatric Training | Vogtareuth, Germany | On-site

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician to join a leading national center for pediatric neurology, neuro-rehabilitation, and epileptology. This specialized facility is renowned as a certified epilepsy center for children and adolescents, focusing on epilepsy surgery and rehabilitation, and boasts extensive inpatient and day-case facilities.

The Role

• Undertake structured neuropediatric training according to an internal curriculum, with consideration for individual interests.
• Gain experience across all areas of the center, including presurgical epilepsy monitoring, conservative epileptology, intermediate care, home ventilation, and rehabilitation.
• Learn to interpret EEGs and cMRTs, and develop expertise in motor support, orthotics, and Botulinum toxin therapy.
• Deepen knowledge in video-EEG long-term monitoring (non-invasive and invasive) and intraoperative monitoring, with opportunities to obtain an EEG certificate.
• Participate in a highly specialized team for presurgical epilepsy diagnostics and epilepsy surgery utilizing modern approaches.
• Receive regular one-on-one teaching from epileptology senior consultants for targeted professional development.

What You'll Need

• A strong interest in neuropediatrics and epileptology. Prior experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary team environment and collaborate effectively with various specialists.
• Demonstrated empathy and dedication to caring for children with complex and chronic conditions, and their families.
• A completed medical degree and relevant professional experience in pediatrics.
