Job Description

Job Title: Database Administrator / Database Reliability Engineer
 
Location: Phoenix, Arizona (Hybrid)
 
We are hiring! We’re looking for an experienced Database Administrator / Database Reliability Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.

What You’ll Do:
24x7 Production Support: Keep enterprise database platforms and mission-critical business applications running smoothly.
 
Platform Operations: Handle installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, backup/recovery, replication, and high availability.
 
Incident & Problem Management: Resolve production incidents, conduct Root Cause Analysis, and drive long-term remediation.
 
Proactive Improvement: Monitor system health and optimize performance to reduce operational risk.
 
Engineering & Automation: Design, optimize, and build self-healing capabilities to elevate database stability and efficiency.
 
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with application, infrastructure, and vendor teams to improve platform stability.
 
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of DBA experience with enterprise and cloud-native database environments.
 
Hands-on expertise in Any 2 SKills - PostgreSQL, Netezza, Yellowbrick, SingleStore, SQL Server, and Yugabyte.
 
Cloud experience with platforms like Aurora PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Google Cloud Spanner.
