Test Automation Engineer (Automation) Location: Remote/Hybrid as required Start Date: End of September / Early October 2026 Duration:

Initial 3-month contract Essential Skills &amp; Experience Minimum 2-3 years' commercial experience with Playwright (more preferred).<br />Proven experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks from scratch.<br />TypeScript coding and technical depth<br />Strong experience in UI test automation Ability to work closely with technical and business teams to establish automation standards and best practices.<br />Experience mentoring/coaching teams and sharing automation knowledge. (working with Haden (our perm resource) Key Responsibilities Design and build a Playwright-based automation framework for the Nexus Programme.<br />Develop and maintain automated UI test suites.<br />Work closely with the Calculations Team to transfer knowledge and embed automation practices.<br />Establish automation standards, reusable components, and framework governance.<br />Support the wider programme in increasing automation coverage and improving quality assurance processes.

Desirable Skills Performance testing - advantageous Experience using Xray as a Test Management tool. advantageous Previous experience within the Pensions sector advantageous Performance testing experience (e.g. JMeter, k6, LoadRunner or similar) advantageous
