Enterprise Applications Developer with Security Clearance

Position Title: Software Developer IV Location: San Diego, CA (Remote) Clearance Requirements: Public Trust Pay Rate: $58.00 - $68.00/hour on W2 Position Description: We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Applications Developer specializing in Accela, SSRS, and ASP.NET/.NET to support the Land Use & Environment Group of the County of San Diego. In this role, you will enhance enterprise systems, develop workflows, create integrations, and deliver high-quality technical solutions within the county's application ecosystem.

Collaborate closely with county IT, internal teams, and vendors to design, implement, and troubleshoot application modules, reports, and workflows aligned with regulatory and operational needs. Key responsibilities include contributing to Accela scripting, configuring modules, designing complex SSRS reports, developing ASP.NET/.NET components, and ensuring system scalability and efficiency. You will also participate in solution architecture discussions, produce detailed technical documentation, and recommend system improvements.

This is a full-time contract opportunity suited for an experienced developer eager to make an impact on public sector digital systems.

Top Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Accela development, scripting, workflows, and configuration
• Proficiency in ASP.NET/.NET development, including web applications, services, and APIs
• Strong SQL skills with experience designing and modifying SSRS reports
• Experience working within enterprise Windows Server environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to SDLC processes
• Advanced .NET development skills, including integrations and middleware
• Experience supporting large government or enterprise systems, particularly with Accela
• Ability to convert T-SQL to MS-SQL and support application testing and validation
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and services
