Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Oracle 19c tables, views, indexes, constraints, and related database objects for assigned user stories.
Support Project Certification section data, bulk-upload staging structures, audit/history structures, and project-to-CCSJ aggregation.
Develop and optimize SQL for validation, reference lookups, data retrieval, persistence, and reporting requirements.
Maintain referential integrity for project/CSJ, Parcel ID, Utility ID, and related TxDOTCONNECT data relationships.
Support Spring Batch data-ingestion design with efficient set-based database operations and transaction-safe processing.
Review database changes with technical SMEs and remediate performance, quality, or design findings.
Support data migration, Test/UAT environments, production deployment, troubleshooting, documentation, and Hypercare.
Coordinate with Java developers and testers to diagnose data-related defects and ensure consistent behavior across UI, API, and database layers.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience; Oracle certifications are helpful but not required.
5+ years of database administration / database development experience in the specified domain
Experience developing or maintaining Oracle databases and views.
Strong Oracle SQL, data modeling, relational integrity, query optimization, and database troubleshooting experience
Experience supporting transactional enterprise applications with staging, audit/history, and reference-data structures
