Member of Technical Staff, Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a technical lead role for one of NYC's fastest-growing AI unicorns building one of the first truly AI-native companies.

The business is developing production-grade AI agents capable of executing complex, end-to-end workflows, focused on fundamentally changing how companies operate.

\n\n

You'll be working at the intersection of Full-Stack Engineering, AI Agents, and Infrastructure, developing intelligent systems that automate complex internal workflows and dramatically improve organizational productivity.

\n\n

The team has already deployed AI agents that write and push code into production, automatically maintain company knowledge, and diagnose and repair internal systems.

\n

The longer-term ambition is to build fully autonomous, end-to-end agentic workflows that can execute entire business processes with minimal human intervention.

What You'll Be Doing

• AI Agent Development: Design, build, and deploy autonomous agents capable of executing complex, multi-step workflows.
\n
• Full-Stack Engineering: Build production-grade applications, internal platforms, and interfaces that connect humans with intelligent agents.
\n
• Agent Infrastructure: Develop the infrastructure, tooling, and integrations required to support AI agents operating at scale.
\n
• Context Engineering: Design systems that provide agents with accurate, structured, and continuously updated organizational knowledge.
\n
• Evaluation & Reliability: Build evaluation frameworks to measure agent performance, monitor execution trajectories, and continuously improve reliability.
\n
• End-to-End Ownership: Take ownership of engineering projects from initial architecture and experimentation through to production deployment.

What We're Looking For

\n
• Exceptional software engineering fundamentals with strong experience building and shipping production systems.
\n
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.
\n
• Experience across full-stack development, backend systems, or infrastructure engineering.
\n
• A genuine interest in LLMs, AI Agents, Coding Agents, and Agentic Workflows.
\n
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to solve ambiguous technical problems from first principles.
\n
• Engineers who thrive in high-ownership environments and enjoy building entirely new systems without an established playbook.
\n
• Previous startup or founder experience is particularly interesting, although not essential.
\n
