Salary: $76k - $79,500k
Permanent Full Time; 40 hours week.
Role based in Welshpool, WA & Client Site.
Responsibilities- Undertake sample management tasks (labelling, receipting, inventory preparation, storage).
- Conduct cyclosizing & laser sizing analyses.
- Conduct routine gold recovery testwork inclusive of cyanide leach tests.
- Ensure process control equipment such as density gauges, particle size indicators, Autosamplers are calibrated and are operational.
- Collaborate and assist plant operators with the maintenance of process equipment.
- Collaborate and assist Laboratory technicians to ensure data integrity.
- Assist project metallurgists with survey sampling, collector trials, and laboratory scaled test works.
- Interpret data and report to metallurgists for accuracy and rapid response to process plant anomalies.
- Provide daily equipment performance updates.
- Generate comprehensive daily and weekly reports.
- Report daily reagent dose rates.
- Enter data and handle concentrates.
- Gold room duties as required.
- Comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct at all times.
- Current "C" class Western Australian driver's license.
- Forklift certification.
- First aid training.
- 1 - 2 years' experience in the minerals processing, production, or laboratory testing industries.
- Knowledge and experience with various commodities and unit operations.
- Experience with some metallurgical laboratory operations and/or testing operations.
- Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety.
