Application Support Engineer - NAMS & Asset Suite 9

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled NAMS & Asset Suite 9 Application Support Engineer to provide operational and technical support for enterprise applications and associated IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting application issues, monitoring system health, supporting maintenance activities, coordinating incident resolution, and ensuring system availability and reliability.

This role requires a hands-on support professional who can work effectively in a highly controlled environment, manage multiple priorities, maintain detailed technical documentation, and provide onsite support as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate with application, infrastructure, database, cybersecurity, networking, and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

Application Support and Troubleshooting

• Provide day-to-day operational and technical support for NAMS and Asset Suite 9 applications.
• Troubleshoot application errors, infrastructure issues, database connectivity problems, interface failures, printing issues, and user access requests.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, system alerts, and operational issues in accordance with established service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Perform application health checks and identify potential system availability, stability, and performance issues.
• Support batch processing, scheduled jobs, application interfaces, integrations, and data-transfer activities.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise application support, application administration, production support, or IT operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications such as NAMS and/or Asset Suite 9 is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across application, infrastructure, database connectivity, interfaces, and access-related issues.
• Understanding of incident management, problem management, change management, and service-level agreements.
• Familiarity with application health monitoring, scheduled jobs, batch processing, system integrations, and data transfers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with NAMS or Asset Suite 9 application support.
• Experience in enterprise asset management (EAM), maintenance management, or operational technology environments.
• Familiarity with Windows or Linux server environments, relational databases, networking, and application interfaces.
• Experience with PowerShell, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
• Exposure to disaster recovery testing, application failover, infrastructure maintenance, and system validation.
