Job Description
This is a trainer position
Cloud Analyst – Solutions II/Cloud Training SME
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Provision and maintain and optimize cloud accounts, Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), compute, storage, and networking resources for performance and cost efficiency, utilizing strategies such as reserve instances and compute savings plans. Implement infrastructure automation, identity and access management, and security boundaries aligned with federal requirements.
- · Developer Enablement: Deliver self-service platform services, Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipelines, and shared tooling to empower application teams with rapid, secure deployments. Focus on building and maintaining infrastructure that enables developers to provision and manage resources securely and efficiently. Adhere to FSA DevSecOps standards for observability, monitoring, and alerting capabilities to support continuous delivery and operational excellence.
- · Security and Compliance: Enforce Zero Trust principles, maintain compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) 20x, and FISMA standards, and implement continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery strategies.
- · Incident Management and Monitoring: Operate 24x7 monitoring and alerting systems, manage incident response processes, and ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence for service availability and performance.
- · Support for Cloud Consolidation: Plan and execute migration of existing environments into a consolidated, standardized cloud architecture. Activities include discovery, assessment, migration planning, execution, and optimization.
- · Business and Program Operations: Provide program management, documentation, compliance tracking, and cost optimization reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.

Required skills/Level of Experience :
- Bachelor's degree; 3-5 years of experience as a technical trainer, cloud enablement, IT training; 2+ years with AWS, Azure, and cloud platform training; 2+ years developing technical training materials, job aids, or e-learning content.
