Travel Data Center Technician

Description

75% nationwide travel, 25% local data center support
Seeking experienced Level 2 Data Center Technicians to join a specialized deployment team supporting a large-scale fiber infrastructure upgrade across multiple data center locations nationwide. This team will serve as the first wave on-site, helping establish processes, procedures, and best practices during the initial 6-8 weeks of each project.
Responsibilities include replacing legacy coax cabling with fiber, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring projects are set up for long-term success before transitioning work to ongoing installation teams. Between travel assignments, technicians will support operations within their local data center market.
This role is ideal for candidates who can quickly step into complex environments, work independently, and contribute from day one.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be comfortable with frequent nationwide travel (approximately 75%).
• Travel assignments may last up to two weeks at a time before returning home.

• Approved business expenses incurred during travel will be reimbursed.
• Strong adaptability, communication skills, and ability to work in dynamic environments are required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
