At Principal level, lead teams, approve technical deliverables, manage resources and contribute to bids and work-winning activities.
About you
You will have:
A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
Significant experience designing mechanical building-services systems.
Experience working within a consultancy or multidisciplinary design environment.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, mechanical plant, water services and associated controls.
Experience producing and checking calculations, specifications and design documentation.
Knowledge of Building Regulations, relevant standards and CDM responsibilities.
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and BIM-led delivery.

Principal-level candidates should also possess Chartered status or equivalent experience and demonstrate technical leadership, team management, commercial responsibility and client-development capability.
Experience within prisons, courts, government buildings, defence, healthcare, education or other operationally sensitive environments would be advantageous. Candidates must be able to obtain the necessary Ministry of Justice security clearance.
The position offers a competitive benefits package, flexible working, professional development and opportunities to work on technically challenging public-infrastructure projects.
