Embedded Software Engineer

PROLIM is currently seeking Embedded Software Engineer for one of the defece contractros.

Location: Camarillo, CA (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Develop embedded realtime system software

• Work in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team

• Resolve software and system defects

• Collaborate with customer teams, internal sites, and crossdiscipline groups

• Participate in peer reviews, milestone reviews, and technical meetings

• Utilize project tools including:

  • Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest, DOORS

  • Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence

  • Ada, C/C++, C#, Python

  • Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, Linux

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in STEM with 5+ years OR MS in STEM with 3+ years

• Experience with Ada, C/C++, or C#

• Knowledge of objectoriented software development

• Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.)

• DoD Secret Clearance or interim Secret acceptable

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills

• Strong collaborative mindset

• Full software lifecycle experience on largescale DoD programs

• Experience programming with Ada and C++

• Realtime embedded software development experience

• Agile environment experience

• Electronic Warfare system development/design experience
