Software Dev Engineer II
Location: Redmond, Washington (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II with an AI background. This position involves designing and implementing automation solutions, developing diagnostic tools, and collaborating with various teams to meet operational objectives. The successful candidate will troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to enhancing the stability and performance of test processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions.
• Develop monitoring and diagnostic tools to ensure reliability and early fault detection.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, continually enhancing the stability and performance of test processes.
• Contribute to code quality and best practices, providing mentorship to junior engineers.
• Conceptualize and execute test campaigns, engaging with systems, hardware, and software development teams.
• Enhance testing efficiency by automating test execution and analysis.
• Anticipate failures, collect data, analyze log files, and compare models to observed behavior to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with other teams to align automation with operational objectives.

Required Qualifications
Education: N/A
Experience: 4-5 years of non-internship professional software development experience. Experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems is also required.
Technical Skills: Strong programming and coding skills with a preference for Python and Java. A background or experience in AI is necessary. The ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues is essential.
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
• Experience with at least one software programming language.
• Communication skills.

Work Environment
Candidates must be open to working either 7 AM to 4 PM or 4 PM to 7 PM shifts to support 24/7 operations with on-call responsibilities.
