  1. Job Description:
Looking for a Sr QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright, AI-driven testing, API automation, and mobile testing.
Must have hands-on automation experience, retail/e-commerce domain knowledge, and proven ability to lead QA delivery and leverage AI to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
  • Develop and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks, reusable scripts, and regression suites.
  • Perform API automation using REST Assured or equivalent tools, along with SQL-based backend/database validation.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Leverage AI for test case generation, automation script development, code enhancement, self-healing automation, intelligent locators, and failure analysis.
  • Validate AI-generated test scenarios and integrate AI capabilities into existing automation frameworks.
  • Develop and execute mobile automation tests for Android and iOS; Appium knowledge is preferred.
  • Validate retail/e-commerce workflows, including online shopping, checkout, order processing, sales, and store operations.
  • Provide technical guidance, review deliverables, coordinate QA teams, and manage planning, defect triage, risks, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams, developers, and business stakeholders; communicate quality metrics, testing progress, and release readiness.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong QA/software testing experience with strong hands-on Playwright automation expertise.
  • Practical experience in AI-assisted testing, intelligent test generation, and automation workflows.
  • Strong functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and API testing skills.
  • Experience with REST Assured (or equivalent), SQL, Jenkins, and CI/CD integration.
  • Mobile automation experience covering both Android and iOS.
  • Retail/e-commerce domain experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of QA team leadership/coordination experience managing teams of 5+ members.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
  • AI-powered testing, self-healing automation, intelligent locators, and AI-assisted failure analysis.
  • Appium or other mobile automation frameworks.
  • UiPath experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to improve automation coverage, reduce regression time, and enhance release quality.
