Senior Information Technology Engineer

Location: Columbus, IN

Duration: Full Time

 

Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business objectives and enterprise standards.

• Develop cloud-native, API-driven, event-based, and microservices-based solutions.

• Define solution roadmaps that support modernization, scalability, and continuous delivery.

• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, performance, and data governance requirements.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.

• Promote reusable architecture patterns, shared services, and platform standardization.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and lead proof-of-concepts to drive innovation.

• Assess application, infrastructure, and platform capabilities and recommend improvements to address technical debt and future needs.

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 6+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or Systems Architecture within large enterprise environments.

• Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, solution design, and modern architectural patterns.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, and system integration.

• Knowledge of security, compliance, data architecture, and governance principles.

• Experience in creating technology roadmaps and driving digital modernization initiatives.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills.

• Passion for emerging technologies and continuous learning.
