Do you have a background in Mechanical Engineering? Are you looking for a hands-on, varied role where you will maintain specialist attractions, site equipment and machinery, with training to enable your development and the opportunity to progress into a Maintenance Manager position?

On offer is the opportunity to join an established independent seaside amusement facility, where you will be responsible for maintaining rides, attractions and site equipment across a busy leisure environment. The company are looking for a proactive engineer to support planned and reactive maintenance, help maintain high safety standards and play a key role in keeping the site running efficiently.

In this role, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, fault finding and repairs across rides, attractions, plant and site equipment. You will work on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, complete maintenance records, liaise with inspection bodies, manage spares, and support the safe operation of amusement equipment in line with relevant health and safety standards.

This role would suit a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer or similar background, looking for a varied site-based role offering training, progression and long-term career development.

The Role:

• Planned and reactive maintenance on rides, attractions, plant and site equipment
• Fault finding, inspections, repairs, maintenance records and spares control
• Progression opportunity towards Maintenance Manager

The Person:

• Background in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Commutable to Littlehampton
