EDU Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Electric drive unit mechanical design Engineer for our client in Bay Area.

Experience: 5+

Key Responsibilities:

• Support mechanical design and development of Electric Drive Unit components and assemblies.
• Create 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Perform packaging studies, tolerance analysis, and design validation support.
• Coordinate with CAE, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Vehicle Integration teams.
• Support prototype builds, testing activities, and engineering change implementation.

Skills Required:

• CATIA V5/V6, NX, or Creo.
• Knowledge of e-Motors, Gearbox, Housing, Cooling Systems, and Powertrain components.
• Understanding of DFMEA, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and APQP principles.
• Experience in automotive product development processes.
