About the Role

Our client, a global pharmaceutical leader, is hiring a CRM Product Owner for its Insights and Decision Science (IDS) organization. IDS helps the US business make better decisions by turning strong data into actionable insights. The US CRM team sits within IDS and is leading the shift to a next-generation Customer360 operating model.

Reporting to CRM Product Management leadership, you’ll own a defined set of CRM capabilities from discovery through release. You’ll work with business and technology teams to turn field and customer needs into clear requirements, manage a prioritized backlog, and drive agile delivery, while keeping every solution aligned with governance, privacy, and compliance standards.

We’re looking for a product leader with a track record of transforming CRM capabilities in commercial operations, plus a strong grasp of how CRM, data, and AI fit together.

What You’ll Do

  • Own a product area. Deliver CRM capabilities end to end, such as field productivity, customer engagement workflows, or medical engagement, from discovery through release and hypercare.
  • Translate business needs into requirements. Gather and prioritize requirements with stakeholders, and write user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures.
  • Manage the backlog. Keep it healthy, with regular refinement, managed dependencies, and a clear definition of ready and done, aligned to quarterly and PI planning.
  • Drive agile execution. Plan and track work with delivery teams, remove blockers, manage scope trade-offs, and ship predictable, high-quality releases.
  • Improve processes and user experience. Find workflow pain points, propose and validate enhancements with users, and support adoption with clear documentation.
  • Partner across business and IT. Align product managers, architecture, analytics, privacy/legal, and commercial and medical stakeholders on requirements, sequencing, and release readiness.
  • Ensure governance and compliance. Follow governance processes and support risk assessments so solutions meet regulatory, privacy, security, and data standards.
  • Guide delivery resources. Give day-to-day direction to analysts and contractors, and help build skills across the product owner community.
  • Drive change and adoption. Work with training and communications leads so releases are understood, adopted, and measured.
  • Communicate clearly. Share concise updates on roadmap items, risks, decisions needed, and outcomes with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Shape product strategy. Bring industry insight, user feedback, and performance data into roadmap recommendations.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years in product management, technology strategy, innovation, or leadership roles, preferably in pharma, healthcare, or CRM.
  • Proven success leading product management for large-scale CRM implementations.
  • Deep knowledge of the CRM landscape (Sales, Marketing, and Service), including Salesforce (Agentforce, Marketing Cloud, Health Cloud, Data 360, core platform), Veeva, and other major players.
  • Understanding of CRM, AI, and data platforms and architectures, such as Salesforce Data Cloud, Veeva, OpenAI, Snowflake, or similar data lake technologies.
  • Accountability for product operations, including backlog health and prioritization, agile practices and ceremonies, and strategic innovation.
  • Experience with AI-supported product management, such as LLM-assisted user story creation and process mapping.
  • Ability to align cross-functional stakeholders behind a disciplined, global commercial CRM strategy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound, data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills and a track record of building stakeholder buy-in.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-changing technology landscape.

Leadership Competencies

  • Navigate complexity. Make fast, sound decisions, keep sight of the big picture during change, and think through long-term implications.
  • Deliver collective impact. Bring diverse perspectives together, influence without authority, challenge assumptions with data, and adapt your style to raise team performance.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required). An MS and/or MBA is preferred.
  • Fluent English. Other languages are a plus.
